We wanted an authentic Mediterranean mosaic and researched the mosaics of the wonderful, Pompeii.

When we were invited by @matthewely_ to design his new jewellery boutique we imagined a Parisian salon. Curved arches, gold leaf, rich silk and will carpets and brass.
Complete with a wonderful plinth at the facade of his pieces on continuous rotation.
Lighting in collaboration with global lighting winners @electrolight__ . Carpet by @cadrys and photography by @rohanvenn .

I absolutely love Hong Kong.
It’s so vibrant and filled with juxtapositions. One of my favourite things to do here is head straight to the wet markets. After a dynamic meeting today talking all things bar, restaurants and rooms, we headed to Kowloon wet markets.

Smokin’ hot Japanese BBQ recently opened in Melbourne for our chic clients.
Our design intent was slick and super cool for a steamy BBQ.
The arrival is a heavy mulberry curtain surrounding a plinth of apricot marble and mulberry timber work.
The reveal is a wet look, black patent leather booths anchored by amber Tom Dixon organic pendants.
Off to the right is a long private dining room nestled behind a screen shaped tatami in circles and rectangles.
It’s timeless and a vision of modern elegance.

Stanton feels like a swanky private members club for the well heeled and well groomed. Just opened in Brisbane, we’ve designed a venue suitable for an all day dining menu and bar to take you from that hit of coffee in the morning to a warm glass of red in the evening and a wood fired pizza. A series of different pockets to sit your pretty self range from communal tables to private dining nooks and laid back leather or printed club chairs.
Warm colours that are cosy yet strong and directed with longevity.
If warming your soul in the bar and dining isn’t your thing, we’ve created a gorgeous outdoor terrace to share the sunshine with friends.
Did someone say Chandelier? We sourced 2 chandeliers from the 1940s that are perfect to swing from late in the evening.
We upholstered chairs and wallpapered walls in the uber cool House of Hackney - more of those images to follow.

Our latest restaurant opening, Rajasthan Rifles, The Peak, Hong Kong.
Three years ago I was fortunate enough to meet Chris from Black Sheep Restaurants, Hong Kong. He and his business partner, Asim, own the largest and most dynamic hospitality groups in HK.
You cannot imagine how thrilled we were to receive their phone call asking us to design their newest venue.
Set in the Colonial era of India, we’ve created an Officers Mess. A place to eat the wonderful delights of Colonial Indian cuisine, swished back with a lick of Gin while listening to all things jazz. We have just returned after being there to style the venue with the lovely, Rob.
